In 2004, Professor Sir Andre Geim and Professor Sir Kostya Novoselov of the University of Manchester first isolated graphene, a supermaterial that is known today to have remarkable atomic properties and has the potential to advance virtually every industry out there. It is harder than diamond, yet more elastic than rubber; tougher than steel, yet lighter than aluminium. In the same way that Vibranium transformed Wakanda in the Black Panther series into a highly technologically-advanced society, graphene will allow us to do the same.

Harnessing graphene's properties.

Graphene's electron mobility is 100 times greater than that of silicon, making it potentially revolutionary for computers. It conducts heat far better than diamond, and has an electrical conductivity of 13 times more than copper's. Even more, its high surface area of 2630 square meters per gram means that you could cover an entire soccer field with less than 3 grams.
